Tutoring Baltimore MD, Grades 6 Through College
City school or county school.
One tutor who knows the class.
Tutoring in Baltimore with Lily’s Tutoring Services is one on one, for grades 6 through college, online or in person in parts of the city and county.

Who tutors in person in Baltimore, and where?
In person tutoring in Baltimore runs through two open pockets: west Baltimore County with Sarah M., and the city around Charles Village with Olivia L., a math tutor on the team. Northern Baltimore County is Lily’s own area, and her own schedule is waitlist only. Online tutoring reaches every other neighborhood and town, with any tutor on the roster.
Baltimore County
- West Baltimore County Sarah M., in person only. Geometry specialist. Middle school math through precalculus.
- Northern Baltimore County Lily G-S, the founder. Her own roster is waitlist only, so she runs your consult and matches you with a tutor from the team.

- Around Charles Village Olivia L., a math tutor on the team, meets students in person, centered on this neighborhood. Lily confirms on the consult whether your address is in range.
- The rest of the city Online, with a shared whiteboard, from Hampden to Highlandtown.

Tell us the neighborhood and the class. Lily says which tutor fits.
Two school systems, two calendars.
Baltimore City Public Schools and Baltimore County Public Schools start a week apart and publish separate calendars, so the right week to start tutoring depends on which side of the city line your student goes to school.
The useful time to begin is the first weeks of a grading period, while a quiz grade can still be rebuilt. A county student who starts in early November has all of the second marking period, which runs to January 15, to pull the average back up. In the spring the two calendars meet: the city’s spring break runs March 26 to April 2, and April 2 is also the day the county’s third marking period ends.

"Lily is so very helpful to my son Jonathan, since she started tutoring him in calculus he has maintained an A average. He does not only help him academically, she also looks at his social skills and how he is doing in his other classes. She advises Jonathan and me and his mother on strategies that could benefit Jonathan in his education. I 100% recommend Lily as a tutor and mentor for students and a helper for parents."
"My daughter Amanda has had great success with her Statistics class since being tutored by Audrey G. Her grades in the class went from barley passing to B to C grades! Thanks again for all your help!"
"Lily is fantastic. She is personable and makes difficult concepts easy to understand. She also is flexible and recalibrates based on her student’s evolving needs. Highly recommended."
